Promoting community banking and cultural activity.

Started “Sandhya Sporting Club” in 1981. In 1996, began to organize women under Self Help Groups. In 2001 Sandhya Development Society registered (SDS) (Reg: No. K.486/01) under Travancore Cochin Literary Scientific and Charitable Societies registration Act 1955.

VICIB -- Kodumpidy is a small village in Kadanad Gramapanchayath of Kottayam district of Kerala. In 1981, a few youngsters came together and formed a society named ‘Sandhya Sporting club’ with the intention to work towards the socio-economic and cultural uplift of the village.

As the major income source of the families in the village is agriculture, Sandhya initiated Farmers’ Club
